Why does my Duvet have a sheepy scent?
Woolroom duvets are 100% natural and hypoallergenic. They are constructed using natural materials. All wool is double-scoured, with this being a natural product that is packaged, there can sometimes be a slight sheepy scent upon initial opening.
How do I get rid of that scent?
This will subside within a few hours of opening up your packaging and airing the product before use will speed up this process.
Can I wash this duvet?
The Chatsworth and Organic Washable duvets are machine washable. It’s recommended to use machine washing on a wool/delicate cycle at 40 degrees using wool detergent, a spin speed lower than 800RPM and then line drying. Tumble drying is not adviced.
Are wool Duvets better than down?
We love wool. We think it’s nature’s miracle material. Not only will one of Woolroom’s wool duvets cradle you in absolute luxury as you slip into bed, but it’ll also keep you snuggly in winter and fresh and cool in summer.
