How Returns Work

Eco Furniture Living has partnered with reputable retailers, which sell eco-friendly furntiure such as:

If you decide to return or cancel a product, your request will need to be handled directly by the retailer from whom you made the purchase.

Each retailer has its own returns and cancellation policy, which may include:

Return timeframes, for example: 14 days.
Conditions for returning items, for example: unused and in original packaging.

Return & Cancellation Rights for Mattresses and Beds

If you have bought a mattress or bed online, customers benefit from a 14-day cooling-off period under UK Distance Selling Regulations — meaning you can cancel your purchase in writing (email or call) within 14 days of receipt with no penalty. After that, returns fall under their general terms: items can only be returned if they are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose under the Sale of Goods Act.

Change‑of‑Mind & Standard Returns for Furniture Items

For furniture items bought online under the Dunelm brand, customers are allowed to return or exchange most furniture items within 28 days of purchase under their “Change of Mind” policy. To qualify, items must be unused, in original condition, with all packaging, tags, and hygiene/security seals (for beds, mattress toppers, etc.) intact, and you’ll need the receipt or order confirmation. Delivery charges are not refunded unless the entire order is faulty or covered by statutory rights.

Additionally, a 14-day statutory cancellation window applies under UK law, allowing full refunds (including standard delivery rates) from the moment you place the order until 14 days after delivery — except for personalised or hygiene-sealed products like mattresses, which can only be returned unused.

Refund Timing & Methods

Once you return a furniture item under the Dunelm brand, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. This typically takes 3–5 working days for card payments and may take slightly longer for PayPal, Klarna, or other methods. You’ll be notified by email once your return has landed in their depot and your refund is underway.

Refund Eligibility & Payment Differences

Refunds cover only the amount paid—excluding any savings from discount codes, which are applied prorated across items.
